SEO & Digital Marketing Service Terms
These SEO & Digital Marketing Service Terms form part of the WeCatchIt Terms & Conditions and apply to all Customers purchasing SEO, Digital Marketing or related services from WeCatchIt.
By purchasing or using these services, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the Service
WeCatchIt provides digital marketing services designed to improve your online presence and help generate business opportunities.
Services may include:
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
- Local SEO
- Google Business Profile Optimisation
- Website Optimisation
- Google Ads Management
- Microsoft Ads Management
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Advertising
- Social Media Marketing
- Content Creation
- Landing Pages
- Conversion Optimisation
- Analytics & Reporting
- Marketing Automation
Services provided depend on your chosen package.
2. Scope of Services
Before work begins, WeCatchIt will agree the scope of work with the Customer.
Any additional work outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges, which will be agreed before work is undertaken.
3. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer agrees to:
- Provide accurate business information.
- Respond to requests for approval promptly.
- Supply access to websites, hosting, analytics and advertising platforms where required.
- Maintain payment of advertising budgets where applicable.
- Ensure all information provided is lawful and accurate.
Delays caused by the Customer may impact campaign performance and delivery times.
4. SEO Services
SEO services may include:
- Technical SEO
- On-page optimisation
- Keyword research
- Meta title and description optimisation
- Internal linking
- Local SEO
- Google Business Profile optimisation
- Website performance improvements
- Content recommendations
SEO is an ongoing process and results vary depending on many factors beyond our control.
5. Advertising Services
Where WeCatchIt manages paid advertising campaigns, we may manage:
- Google Ads
- Microsoft Ads
- Facebook Ads
- Instagram Ads
Advertising budgets remain the responsibility of the Customer unless otherwise agreed.
Advertising spend is separate from WeCatchIt's management fees.
6. Content Creation
Where content creation is included, WeCatchIt may produce:
- Website content
- Blog articles
- Landing pages
- Advertising copy
- Social media content
- Calls-to-action
- Promotional material
The Customer is responsible for reviewing and approving content before publication where approval is requested.
7. Search Engines & Platforms
Customers acknowledge that search engines and advertising platforms are controlled by third parties.
WeCatchIt has no control over:
- Google algorithm updates
- Bing algorithm updates
- Meta platform changes
- Search engine indexing
- Competitor activity
- Market conditions
These factors may affect campaign performance.
8. No Guarantee of Rankings or Results
While WeCatchIt applies recognised industry best practices, we do not guarantee:
- First-page Google rankings
- Specific keyword rankings
- Increased website traffic
- Increased enquiries
- Increased sales
- Return on advertising spend (ROAS)
- Return on investment (ROI)
- Business growth
- Specific conversion rates
Marketing performance depends on many external factors beyond our control.
9. Customer Approvals
Where approvals are required, the Customer should respond promptly.
Failure to approve content, advertisements or campaigns may delay delivery.
If approval is not received within a reasonable time, WeCatchIt may pause the project until instructions are received.
10. Third-Party Platforms
Our services may utilise third-party platforms including:
- Google Ads
- Google Analytics
- Google Business Profile
- Microsoft Advertising
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
- OpenAI
- Microsoft Clarity
- Zapier
- Stripe
- CRM systems
WeCatchIt is not responsible for outages, policy changes or account suspensions imposed by these providers.
11. Customer Accounts
Where campaigns are managed using the Customer's own advertising accounts:
- the Customer retains ownership of those accounts;
- the Customer remains responsible for complying with each platform's terms of service;
- WeCatchIt may require administrative access to perform the agreed services.
12. Fair Use
Our marketing services are intended for reasonable commercial use.
Excessive revisions, additional meetings or work outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges.
Any additional charges will be discussed and agreed in advance.
13. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
The Customer owns:
- Their logos
- Brand assets
- Business information
- Customer data
WeCatchIt retains ownership of:
- Marketing strategies
- Campaign structures
- Templates
- Smart Automation
- Prompt libraries
- Internal workflows
- Custom reporting systems
- Proprietary processes
Upon full payment, the Customer is granted a licence to use any deliverables specifically created for their business.
14. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential business information private unless disclosure is required by law.
15. Suspension
WeCatchIt reserves the right to suspend services where:
- payment is overdue;
- advertising platform policies are breached;
- unlawful activity is identified;
- the Customer provides misleading or illegal content;
- these Terms are breached.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WeCatchIt shall not be liable for:
- changes in search engine rankings;
- advertising account suspensions;
- reduced website traffic;
- competitor activity;
- loss of sales;
- loss of profits;
- loss of revenue;
- indirect or consequential losses.
Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by the Customer for the relevant services during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Scots law.
17. Termination
Either party may terminate ongoing marketing services in accordance with the cancellation provisions set out in the main Terms & Conditions.
Upon termination:
- completed work remains payable;
- outstanding invoices become immediately due;
- access to campaign management may be removed once final handover has been completed.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
